Pet and Tortoise World accepts secure online payments using the following methods:

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. Orders will not be processed or scheduled for production until payment has been received.

Please note:

PayPal transaction fees are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or refund.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.

Shipping Information

Accessories

Accessories are usually dispatched within 1–3 working days, subject to stock availability.

Shipping times may vary depending on courier service and destination.

Once dispatched, delivery is handled by a third-party courier and estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

Timber Products (Built to Order)

All timber products, including tortoise tables, stands, mesh lids, gates, and hibernation boxes, are handmade to order.

Production times vary depending on workload and product type.

Estimated build times will be communicated where possible, but should be considered an approximation.

Orders are dispatched once construction is complete.

Due to the bespoke nature of these products, please allow additional time for manufacturing before shipment.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout or confirmed at the time of ordering.

Shipping costs vary based on item size, weight, and delivery location.

Delivery Responsibility

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the order has been delivered.

Please inspect your delivery upon arrival.

Any damage or faults must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence where possible.
